PSP Receives OBEC Recognition Award 2026 Reinforcing Its Commitment to Expanding Educational Opportunities Through 196 Scholarships Under the “PSP Sharing” Program

P.S.P. Specialties Public Company Limited (PSP), a leading Total Lubricant Solutions Provider, has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing education in Thailand by receiving the 2026 Recognition Award for Outstanding Contributions to the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC). The recognition was presented in appreciation of the Company's THB 1 million contribution toward the construction of a new school building at Samutsakhonwittayalai School in Samut Sakhon Province.
PSP continues to strengthen its social commitment through the "PSP Sharing Empowering Brighter Futures for Employees' Families and Society" initiative, which has been implemented continuously for more than 18 years. Since its inception, the program has awarded 2,670 scholarships worth more than THB 10 million. In 2026, the Company awarded an additional 196 scholarships, totaling THB 829,000, to employees' children and youth from communities surrounding its operational sites. This reflects PSP's commitment to conducting business while creating shared value for society in line with its ESG principles.

The 2026 Recognition Award for Outstanding Contributions to the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC) was presented to PSP by the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC), Ministry of Education, in recognition of the Company's THB 1 million contribution toward the construction of a new school building at Samutsakhonwittayalai School, located near the Company's operational facilities.
Representing the Company, Sakesan Krongphanich, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, received the recognition plaque from Prasert Jantararuangtong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, during the ceremony marking the 23rd Anniversary of the Office of the Basic Education Commission, held at the Teachers' Council Hall, Ministry of Education.
In 2026, PSP awarded scholarships to support both employees' children and youth in communities surrounding its operational sites. The Company granted 136 scholarships to employees' children, totaling THB 629,000, including:
- 74 scholarships (THB 3,000 each) for students from primary school to lower secondary school with good academic performance;
- 36 scholarships (THB 8,000 each) for students with outstanding academic performance;
- 23 scholarships (THB 4,000 each) for upper secondary school and vocational certificate (Vocational Certificate Level) students with good academic performance; and
- 3 scholarships (THB 9,000 each) for students with outstanding academic performance.
In addition, PSP awarded 60 scholarships, totaling THB 200,000, to youth in surrounding communities, comprising:
- 40 scholarships for primary school students; and
- 20 scholarships for upper secondary school students.
Recipients were selected based on their academic achievement, conduct, and participation in activities that benefit their schools and communities, with the aim of encouraging educational excellence and fostering a strong sense of social responsibility.
Over the past 18 years, the PSP Sharing program has continuously awarded a total of 2,670 scholarships, valued at more than THB 10 million, demonstrating the Company's long-standing commitment to expanding educational opportunities and supporting youth development.
Beyond providing scholarships, PSP also offers students and young people from neighboring communities opportunities to visit the Company's facilities, where they gain first-hand experience of its business operations, environmental management practices, and greenhouse gas reduction initiatives. These educational visits help promote an understanding of responsible business practices while inspiring sustainability awareness among the younger generation.
