PSP reinforces its ESG strategy by awarding over 234 scholarships to support youth, fostering sustainable growth for employees and communities

P.S.P. Specialties Public Company Limited (PSP), the leading lubricant solutions partner, continues to advance its ESG roadmap toward sustainability by awarding over 234 scholarships worth 833,000 baht in 2025 through the “PSP Sharing: Giving a Better Future” initiative. This annual program, which has been running for more than 17 years, has granted a total of 2,474 scholarships valued at over 10 million baht to children of employees and students from communities near its operations in Samut Sakhon. Covering both academic excellence and social contribution categories, the initiative reflects PSP’s long-standing commitment to inclusive growth with employees, families, and surrounding communities as key pillars of its sustainable development.

Mr. Sakesan Krongphanich, Deputy CEO of P.S.P. Specialties Public Company Limited (PSP), stated that driving the organization under the ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) framework is a core principle for sustainable development. In particular, the “Social” dimension is a key focus for PSP, which emphasizes comprehensive care for stakeholders, including employees, their families, and surrounding communities. The company believes that sustainable and stable business growth can only be achieved when it progresses in tandem with creating opportunities for society as a whole.

One of the key initiatives under PSP’s social strategy is the “PSP Sharing: Giving a Better Future” program, which has been ongoing since 2008. The program aims to promote educational opportunities for youth, including both children of employees and students from schools in communities surrounding the company’s facilities. Its core principle goes beyond providing financial support by also encouraging and motivating young people to pursue their education, develop their full potential, and actively contribute to society in tangible ways.

In 2025, PSP awarded a total of 234 scholarships valued at 833,000 baht, comprising 174 scholarships worth 633,000 baht for employees’ children and 60 scholarships worth 200,000 baht for students from schools in communities surrounding its facilities. These scholarships cover all education levels, from primary to university, and include awards for academic excellence as well as special scholarships for students with good conduct, strong determination despite financial limitations, and those with a proven record of contributing to society.

Over the course of the “PSP Sharing: Giving a Better Future” program, the company has awarded a total of 2,240 scholarships worth over 9.6 million baht. Including the 2025 allocation, the program has granted a total of 2,474 scholarships valued at more than 10.43 million baht over the past 17 years. This reflects PSP’s continued commitment to supporting and empowering young people, who represent a vital force for the future of Thai society.

The scholarship recipients include children of PSP employees from production, office, and various support departments, as well as students from schools in communities surrounding the company’s facilities in Samut Sakhon Province. These schools include Wat Bang Yha Praek School, Wat Chong Lom Municipal School, Wat Yai Chom Prasat School, Wat Koh School, Ban Om Rong Heap School, Luang Paet Kosol Uppatham School, Wat Srimuang School, Ban Tha Sai School, Wat Panthu Wong School, Na Dee Municipal School, Wat Bang Ping School, Ban Bang Ping School, Thepnorrarat School, Ekachai School, Wat Laem Municipal School, Wat Khlong Khru School, Wat Charoensukharam School, Samut Sakhon Kindergarten School, Samut Sakhon Wittayalai School, Samut Sakhon Burana School, Wat Nuan Noradit School, and Samut Sakhon Technical College. Many of these families have received ongoing support over several years, reflecting PSP’s strong commitment to creating lasting educational opportunities for youth and truly linking the company’s growth with the improved quality of life of surrounding communities.

Mr. Sakesan further emphasized that PSP views ESG as more than just “corporate social and environmental responsibility” — it is fully integrated into the company’s business strategy across all dimensions, from developing environmentally friendly products to ensuring transparent internal management and fostering a resilient society through care for employees and communities. PSP believes that true sustainability can only be achieved when all sectors grow together. In this regard, providing scholarships to youth is seen as a long-term investment that can transform lives and generate significant positive impact in the future.

In addition to the “PSP Sharing: Giving a Better Future” scholarship program, PSP continues to organize a variety of ongoing social initiatives, including vocational training workshops, volunteer activities, blood donation drives, environmental projects, and community health programs. All of these efforts reflect the company’s strong commitment to conducting business in tandem with sustainable social development, guided by the principle of “Growing Together.”
