PSP Safety Matters Organizes “Children swimming Lessons” in Collaboration with the Marine Police to Enhance Water Safety Skills for Employees’ Children and Youths from Nearby Communities During the semester Break

P.S.P. Specialties Public Company Limited (PSP), in collaboration with the Marine Police, organized a special activity titled “Children swimming Lessons” for employees’ children and youths from nearby communities under the PSP Safety Matters initiative. The program aimed to promote basic swimming skills, water survival techniques, and the productive use of free time during the semester Break. The activity was held on 25–26 April 2026 at Ban Phaeo Municipality Swimming Pool, Samut Sakhon Province.
The event featured a variety of practical learning activities, including kicking exercises, pool-edge holding techniques, floating practice, and proper introductory swimming lessons. The objective was to equip participating youths with essential swimming skills while also teaching them how to respond appropriately and safely to water-related emergencies. Topics included self-rescue in drowning situations, how to call for assistance effectively, and basic lifesaving guidance for water accident victims. These are critical life skills that can significantly help reduce the risk of drowning and loss of life.
The program received strong interest and participation, with a total of 30 youths from nearby communities and employees’ families joining the activity, together with 35 Marine Police officers and more than 40 parents. The event reflected strong collaboration among the public sector, private sector, and local communities in jointly promoting a safer and more sustainable society.
