PSP Advances Its Integrated Lubricants Strategy through Strategic Collaboration with Orthene to Establish International-Standard Brake Fluids Production Capability in Thailand

Specialties Public Company Limited (“PSP”), a leading provider of integrated lubricant solutions, said that the company is expanding its lubricants and specialty products business into the Automotive Brake Fluids segment through a strategic collaboration with Orthene Chemicals Ltd. (“Orthene”), a globally recognized specialist in brake fluid development and manufacturing with more than 50 years of accumulated experience and expertise, spanning product formulation development, technical standards, quality control, and the development of technologies and innovations for the automotive, motorsport, and industrial sectors worldwide. With its internationally recognized expertise and technologies, Orthene has earned the trust of leading automotive manufacturers and brands across multiple markets. Through this collaboration, PSP will receive knowledge transfer, product formulations, and manufacturing technology directly from Orthene, making PSP the first company in Thailand to bring Orthene’s technologies and product formulations to local manufacturing, while enhancing its manufacturing capabilities for brake fluid products to meet international standards and support global market opportunities.

Under this collaboration, PSP has been appointed as Orthene’s Exclusive Regional Manufacturing Hub for the ASEAN region, covering Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Cambodia, Laos, Brunei, and Myanmar, to support market demand across the region. Meanwhile, Orthene will provide technical expertise, manufacturing formulations, product standards, laboratory testing, training, regulatory compliance support, as well as ongoing research and development to continuously enhance the products.
